DHI Aegean Masters Meeting places hair restoration on a new path. Over 90 members of the DHI Global family from 15 countries boarded the Aegean Pearl last Friday the 28th of May at 9 am for a three day cruise meeting.
Before we arrived in cosmopolitan Mykonos the meeting had begun.
DHI Founder and Global Chairman Mr. K P Giotis defined with clarity the three objectives of the meeting in his opening welcome speech.

1.    To Celebrate our 40 years commitment to hair restoration.
2.    To communicate with each other.
3.    To educate ourselves and learn from the masters.

DHI Global Medical Director, Dr T Vekris M.D., presented the new patented DHI Direct technique. He presented video as well as actual patients.
Dr Vekris outlined some of the advantages of the new Direct DHI technique:

Dr. Kim presented his latest research the DKK-1 and TG- H1 projects that he hopes will produce new substances that will stimulate hair growth.

Professor G. Dedousis of the Harokopeio University of Athens, presented the first results on a DHI funded study on the incidence & classification of androgenetic alopecia in the Greek population & the relation of androgenetic alopecia with genetic and environmental risk factors.

The excitement was so intense, the knowledge so great, that will last not only till the next meeting, but for a life time.
We all said farewell till the next meeting, in Feb 2011 in Rajasthan, in incredible India.
